Girls’ Day 2023 at the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab in Munich, Germany
At Dassault Systèmes, enabling businesses and people to harmonize product, nature and life has been our mission. It is core to our business. Through the creation of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, innovators all over the world are invited to join us in this mission. As of today, there are four 3DEXPERIENCE Labs in the world, and the one of Munich has been opened in September 2022.
Usually, the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab is where innovators get together to foster entrepreneurship and bring new experiences to life. On April 27, however, the visitors were far younger but just as innovative: twenty girls aged 11 years and older looked behind the scenes of the innovation lab in Munich, Germany, as part of the nationwide Girls’ Day, a career-orientation project for girls.
The project’s objective is to expand women’s spectrum of vocational choices. Influenced by social role models, most female students choose their professions based on gender. Girls’ Day offers the opportunity to look into work environments, which are, as yet,unknown to many girls.
A perfect occasion for Dassault Systèmes to join in and offer the female students the opportunity to explore the world of 3D modeling and technology.

Our goal was to showcase our company and provide them an opportunity to explore the world of 3D modeling and technology.
The girls had an amazing time and were very enthusiastic about learning how to create in 3D.
SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids is the best option to enter this new world effortlessly.
Next logical step for kids to upgrade their skills
As soon as the workshop started, the girls got calm and focused.
The younger generation is growing up with High-tech all-around them,
So getting in touch with a new tool is just the next logical step for them, the next upgrade to their skills.
In easy steps, they entered together the world of 3D Design.
Even if it was their first steps, the results were very impressive. It was amazing to see how quickly the girls adopted the new software tool and started giving their creativity and innovation room to play around.
Shaping everything you may think of and changing the colors in a few clicks. Abstract designs, animals, toys or an angel created in minutes.
This could be the beginning of something that can change the world for the better.
