Apps for Kids Summertime Fun #3Dsummer Challenge

Need to keep the kids busy and entertained during the summer holidays, or simply want them to discover the basics of 3D design? Good news! The SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids #3Dsummer Challenge has started and will last all summer!

Apps for Kids is a web-based collection of apps — Shape It, Style It, Mech It, Capture It, Show It, Print It—, available for tablets and other mobile devices. Apps for Kids can inspire children from ages 4 to 14 to learning about design in a fun, exciting, and engaging way.

Beach, mountain, countryside, forest, city, or even the Moon or Mars? Where would your kids like to go this summer? Ask them to illustrate their dream holiday in 3D and participate in the #3Dsummer Challenge with Apps for Kids.

To participate, simply go to appsforkids.wpengine.com, create their account, and they can start creating straight away. In order to help them, public projects, shapes, and backgrounds are available to make the creating even easier. When their design is finished, share them on social media mentioning #3DSummer, along with #SOLIDWORKS and/or @Dassault3DS.
