Welcome to our Apps for Kids June newsletter! As we embrace summer’s arrival, June brings a wave of exciting opportunities and events. With longer days and warmer temperatures, it’s the perfect time to explore new adventures, embrace personal growth, and connect with others. June also marks the culmination of the academic year, as students eagerly await their final exams and celebrate the completion of their studies or simply wait for the summer holiday.

CAD modeling workshops in elementary school of Armenia
Armenia is a country with a history of 6000 years, with a considerable heritage in science, engineering, art and philosophy. During all these years, Armenians have built exceptional masterpieces and are known as a ”builder nation”. The Armenian engineering mind was fully expressed in their architecture, especially churches, monuments, and other historical buildings that you can find in many countries worldwide. These buildings survived thanks to the unique engineering solutions of their designers.
Since the 20th century, Armenia has had strong engineering schools and traditions in machine building engineering, computer sciences and other engineering industries.
Several Armenian scientists and inventors are famous worldwide, and had an impact on the Armenian engineering environment. Nowadays, Armenia is one of the countries with the world’s most prominent and fastest-growing IT industries. But, in parallel, Armenia needs specialists in other engineering fields, especially electronics and mechanical engineering.

Inspiration and Challenges
June is a month of celebration for turtles as World Turtle Day falls on June 16th, raising awareness about the conservation and protection of these fascinating creatures and their habitats. It is a time when people come together to learn about turtles, promote their well-being, and take action to safeguard their existence for future generations.
That’s why we propose, this month, to design your own turtle using SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids.
